1/26/09 Classroom Assignment Blocks 1 & 4

1. Use a Microsoft Word Document to answer the following questions: 1) What do you already know about Computers? 2) What do you expect to learn or do in the class? 3) What would you like to learn or do in the computer class?

The upper lefthand corner of your assignment should have the following:
Your First & Last Name - Computer Class Expectations
Computer Technology
Block __
Date

Also, if you have an email address, type your email address on the document. Let me know if you do not have an email address. You will need to get a flash drive. Let me know how soon you can purchase one. If you are financially unable to purchase a flash drive, let me know that as well. They generally cost around $10.

Your work should be in Times New Roman 12pt font


2. Create a hall pass for yourself. Your hall pass should include the following: 1) Your First and Last Name 2) Ms. Gavin 3) Date 4) Time 5) Bathroom Office Other ___________ 6) a picture of your choice from google images(Your picture must be approved by me). 7) and the following words in all capital letters: THIS PASS IS INVALID WITHOUT A SIGNATURE!

I must see your work before you print.

3. Create a blog account. Go to google.com and click the "sign in" link located at the upper right hand side of the page. complete the forms to create your account.

If you do not have an email address, you will need to create one. You can create a gmail address from the google page.

Your display name must be your first and last name.
